In a drawer-- here is a crayon sketch of Brendan as a babe, and Madeleine's first designer handbag, created for one of her bears, I believe, when she was three or four. (It's crafted from a paper towel. I like that in a girl.)
The paper towel handbag is adorable. My daughter made me a "knitting bag" out of notebook paper, which she drew on, then folded, and stapled the sides. I actually used it for notions until it fell apart, and she was so proud. It's one of the best parts of being a parent.
